Medium Embedder
A service that allows you to display Medium articles on your website.
Description
It comes with the following -
- medium.js - A javascript library for parsing medium articles
- medium-proxy - A proxy service which can be deployed with one-click
- a handful of customization options
You can also:
- Provide a secure CORS response from the proxy service
- Customize the embedder theme
Instructions
The demo displays a list of medium posts which I've written and it also allows you to fetch any medium user articles. It is being displayed with the help of the javascript library which I've built and it internally uses a proxy service. Medium Embedder can be used as a widget to embed the posts on your website.

The site looks nice and seem to function well. I could see this being a nice search option you could offer website owners to be able to add a search bar to their site that ultimately links to their posts on Medium. To the extent that you can develop your library more to offer that functionality out of the box, that seems pretty useful.

Good: I really liked the concept
Improvements: 1. Clap count seems to be lower than what you can see on the medium.com 2. You may choose to show responses/highlights from the medium profile. 3. If you can serve an embed-url(similar to tinyURL) from a server for any user account that will be amazing(definately out of scope for a hackathon)
