This application throws a GUI interface on top of dig

, traceroute
, and whois
.
After launching the application, provide a domain name you would like to inspect. You can switch between each tool by selecting them from the dropdown.
Visit the download page on Github to download the latest bundled release for your operating system!
brew cask install https://raw.githubusercontent.com/theRemix/homebrew-cask/int/Casks/int.rb
This will install the application Improved Network Tools
to your Applications
folder.

The aesthetics of the app is really nice and I personally need this type of information for my job often so this is a nifty tool to have.

I like that this was easy to install and use locally. I also like that the command line tools are included. It would be awesome to be able to set up a list of favorites to easily check frequently checked domains.
